Greg writes to Charities Commission about 1 Park Head Road

Greg has contacted the Charities Commission to get the go-ahead for the sale of 1 Park Head Road which has been empty for some time and has attracted anti social behaviour. The Charities Commission had delayed the sale as they need to authorise whether it was possible to sell the building, which forms part of Lord Armstrong's charitable bequest of Jesmond Dene to the city. The Commission has now confirmed the sale, which will raise match funding for the Lottery Fund plan to renovate the Dene, and the building will now be able to be marketed and occupied as a family home.
