Greg visits UNN Freshers Fair

As thousands of university students return to the constituency for the start of the new academic year Newcastle East Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman Greg Stone will be visiting the University of Northumbria Students Union today to support the UNN student Lib Dem branch and to discuss issues relating to student tuition fees, housing, and late payment of student loans with undergraduates and sabbatical officers.
Greg said "I am very much aware of dissatisfaction amongst students over Labour's failures on fees, student loans, and graduate unemployment, and will be finding out about problems at first hand with UNN students. At the forthcoming election student voters have a choice between a Lib Dem candidate committed to scrapping fees and a Labour MP who was instrumental in getting them introduced."
