Frontbencher Farron lined up for Newcastle East Christmas do

Newcastle East Lib Dems will be welcoming Tim Farron, Lib Dem MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale and the party's spokesman on rural affairs on Saturday December 12th for the local party's Christmas do, which this year will be held at the Northumberland Hussars pub, Sackville Road, Heaton.

In addition to pizza, wine, and politics, Tim will be drawing the winning tickets for the party's Grand Christmas Draw- tickets still available and great prizes on offer including Theatre Royal vouchers, a luxury Christmas hamper, and electrical goods!

Greg Stone said "Tim is a former Newcastle University student and president of the student union, and a former Newcastle Lib Dem activist, so we are delighted to welcome him back to the city, particularly following his star turn at the party's conference this year. Members, supporters, friends and family are all welcome - tickets are £7.50"
